Beta note

The Windows installer is signed. The macOS beta is not yet signed by Apple. Browser downloads may need a one-time security confirmation, and company-managed devices may block new apps.

A little help getting settled.

What do I need to get started?

A supported desktop computer and an Unoblox API key. The app asks for your key on first launch. The Mac beta supports Apple Silicon only. Windows ARM64 can run the x64 build under emulation.

How do I open a browser download?

macOS: Open the DMG, drag unoblox works into Applications, then open it. If macOS blocks it, dismiss the dialog (Done), then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Windows: Open the setup file. If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway when available.

Linux: Install the .deb with your package manager. For AppImage, make the file executable and open it. It requires FUSE 2; prefer the .deb on Ubuntu 24.04+ for sandbox support.

What stays private?

unoblox works collects no usage data and, on its own, contacts only api.unoblox.ai. Installers also contact unoblox.ai to download the app. This web page is part of unoblox.ai and follows our cookie policy.

Can I update an earlier beta?

The public installer is intended to update unoblox works in place, keeping your data. If you still have the older “Unoblox” app, you can remove it separately after installing unoblox works.

How do I uninstall?

macOS: Quit the app and delete unoblox works.app from Applications (or your home Applications folder).

Windows: Settings → Apps → unoblox works → Uninstall.

Linux: Run sudo apt remove unoblox-works. For a script-installed AppImage, remove ~/.local/opt/unoblox-works, ~/.local/bin/unoblox-works, and ~/.local/share/applications/unoblox-works.desktop.

Settings, conversations and the stored key remain in the dsh-desktop folder. Delete it only if you want to erase that data:

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/dsh-desktop
Windows: %APPDATA%\dsh-desktop
Linux: ~/.config/dsh-desktop
